CONCORD Arthur A. Aalto, 91, a longtime resident of Concord, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. Born in Worcester he was the son of the late Andrew and Hilda (Pelkola) Aalto.
Mr. Aalto graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and later attended Worcester Jr. College before being called to serve his county during World War II in the U.S. Air Force. He was also the first person in Worcester to be drafted. During World War II he was stationed at Baker Island in the Marshalls as well as in the Radar Unit in Hawaii.
