BOSTON'S Cemetery Chapel has not been saved? but the fight for its future is far from dead and buried.
The grade II listed building is suffering from a long list of ailments, most notably dry rot, and on the findings of an architect, Boston Borough Council officers advised [pounds sterling]9,245 be spent on urgent repair work.
But on Wednesday the authority's cabinet, the council's decision-making committee, refused to sanction the expenditure from its cash-strapped coffers.
Coun Ray Newell declared: "We have got to make some very difficult decisions. I don't think this is a difficult decision; I don't think we should spend nearly [pounds ...
