DURING the opening 15 minutes, Bury failed to make an impression and as a result leaked two poor goals.
Bury rallied as the midfield pair of Fry and Thompson started to move the ball around. A dose of abuse from the captain at half-time seemed to reinvigorate Bury.
Excellent passing led to an incisive break by Holden and a penalty flick. Wilson just managed to get the ball in the net for a goal. Bury continued to dominate but could not get the break needed to draw level.
