Evidently the task of producing three games and 11 hours of coverage last winter as part of the inaugural "Hockey Day in Minnesota" wasn't enough for the folks at FSN North and the Wild. This season they have decided to up the ante to five games and 16 hours of wall-to-wall hockey.
In an announcement that will be made Wednesday during the Wild-Vancouver telecast on FSN North, the network and NHL club will unveil plans to air three high school hockey games, as well as the Wild and Gophers men's hockey contests on Feb. 9.
