After moving to the Badger Conference in 2001, Portage and Reedsburg high schools are now faced with the possibility of returning to the South Central Conference.
Portage athletic director Jim Langkamp confirmed earlier this week a conference realignment plan that WIAA associate director Deb Hauer has proposed includes that scenario.
Langkamp said Hauser proposed the idea to him and Reedsburg athletic director Bryan Yager as part a realignment model that would go into effect in fall 2009.
Langkamp said he and Yager were invited to a Nov. 13 meeting between Hauser and South Central athletic ...
