WORCESTER - The surging Holy Name football team, which surrendered a Central Mass.-low 80 points through nine games, has been doing it with defense all year. Nothing changed in yesterday's annual clash with Wachusett Regional.
After a somewhat sluggish start, the Naps - ignited by junior running back Kevin Greene's three touchdowns - caught fire, doing all their scoring in the second and third quarters en route to a 26-8 victory at Worcester State College.
Holy Name, which leads the holiday rivalry 15-13, improved to 7-3. The Naps are 5-1 in Division 1 West. The Mountaineers finished 3-8, and 0-3 in D1 North.
