MORE than 20 thefts from vehicles in Peterborough since November 1 have prompted police to put out the message not to advertise your belongings to thieves.
Vehicles across the city have been broken into during the late afternoon and evenings and items left inside have been stolen.
Between 6pm on Friday, November 16 and 10.10am the following day, a Peugeot 306 in Western Avenue, Dogsthorpe, had its glove box searched, and a mobile phone was stolen.
The driver's door was damaged where the thief had forced it to break in.
