MATTHEW goes to school in his blue hoodie. He laughs, saying it is warmer than his blazer. I can still see him chuckling as he walks out the gate.

Around 4pm, I hear sirens going past the shop. Some poor person hurt maybe.

When I arrive home, my mobile rings and a voice says: "You're home now, are you? I'm coming down." I don't catch who it is, he said PC somebody. Has Matthew been up to a prank again? He likes to do daft things.
