SEOUL, Nov. 27 Asia Pulse - South Korean stocks fell more than 3 per cent late Tuesday morning as investor sentiment was dented by overnight losses in U.S. markets, analysts said.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell 58.94 points, or 3.18 per cent, to 1,796.39 as of 11:20 a.m.

"The local key index tumbled on renewed concerns over the U.S. subprime mortgage rout. Foreign investors became net sellers in one session, which burdened the stock index," said Park So-yeon, an analyst at Korea Investment & Securities.
