China to set up monitoring system for consumer product injuries

Shanghai. November 27. INTERFAX-CHINA - The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ) and the Ministry of Health will jointly set up a national monitoring system on injuries caused by consumer products, which could be used as a reference for government decisions on consumer product safety, according to an announcement by GAQSIQ last Friday.
