Thanks to the DAV in my state of Minnesota, I am rated as a 100 percent disabled veteran and a Life Member. I'm one of those disabled veterans whose wounds do not physically show and yet I suffered for years without care. The care I've been given at the Minneapolis VA medical center has been superior. I've been treated with dignity and respect by the system and the individuals who make it up. I would like to believe every veteran has been treated with the same dignity and respect throughout the VA system, but sadly I've heard stories to the contrary. I would hope with the latest influx of funds from Congress and the renewed effort to hire more claims raters and mental health ...
