Thrifty PayLess, Inc., the second largest retail drug store chain in North America, PayLess Drug Stores Northwest, Inc., and fired Thrifty PayLess President and CEO Timothy R. McAlear, have been named as Defendants in a lawsuit filed today by Mr. David Nelson, the estranged husband of former Thrifty PayLess Senior Vice President of Marketing Lori Young Nelson.

The lawsuit was filed in Oakland County, Michigan, as Case No. 95-502377-CK, Hon. Deborah G. Tyner. It alleges that McAlear, as the President of PayLess Drug Stores ...
