When Peetz travels to Eads for the Class A 6-Man state football championship Saturday, the Bulldogs will be looking for a little redemption.
The teams met for the first time in the semifinals last year. Peetz was a seasoned 6-Man playoff team, and Eads was in the classification's postseason for the first time after dropping down from the 8-Man level.
Eads, though, looked like the more experienced team, as it scored first and never looked back in a 48-30 upset.
Peetz coach Scott Sorensen said the reason Eads had success in its first 6-Man season was his counterpart, Shawn Randel.
