BOURNE were bitterly disappointed not to take something from this local derby after dominating the league leaders for long periods of the East League Premier B clash.
The better team certainly didn't win this match. but that was scant consolation for Bourne captain Gareth Evison and his troops.
After withstanding an initial barrage from Peterborough, Bourne gradually and emphatically imposed themselves on the game.
Chances came and went and, unfortunately for Bourne, the Peterborough goalkeeper was in inspired form and pulled off several outstanding saves to deny Meadows, Julian Catto and Andrew Fletcher in quick succession.
