The I-Man is back.
When controversial shock jock Don Imus returns to the airwaves Monday, his nationally syndicated morning-drive talk show will be heard locally on WTAR-AM (850) weekdays from 6 to 9 a.m.
Imus, long known for his brazen, sarcastic wit, crossed the line in April when he made derogatory comments on the air about the Rutgers University women's basketball team. After a brief leave of absence he was fired by CBS Radio and dropped by MSNBC, which simulcast his program on cable television.
