The Worcester Chorus and the Master Singers of Worcester have a good Handel on the holidays.
Actually, they'll be performing two of the composer's brilliant oratorios in what could be called an unofficial "Handel festival" this weekend. At 8 p.m. Saturday in Mechanics Hall, the Worcester Chorus will give its 108th annual rendering of Handel's "Messiah." Then, at 3 p.m. Sunday in Temple Emanuel, the Master Singers of Worcester will perform Handel's dramatic oratorio "Judas Maccabaeus."
