WESTFIELD - What a way to go out.
For Rene Hanson, there will never be a better feeling than the one he experienced yesterday.
The Valley Tech coach, who earlier this year quietly announced his retirement, finished his career with a bang as the Beavers rolled to a 37-8 victory over Dean Tech to claim the Division 3A Super Bowl.
The crown is the first for the Valley Tech football program, which debuted in 1999 at the junior varsity level before fielding a varsity team for the first time in 2000.
