ABSTRACT

Any shortest path finding problem can be regarded as a design problem since it requires the design of an algorithm which can be implemented as an information system-based solution. This paper addresses a dynamic shortest path finding problem in urban road networks that has time dependent characteristics such as time windows for allowing traffic in a specific time as well as traffic operational characteristics such as U-turn and left-turn prohibition.
