ABSTRACT:
In the 21st century it is not enough to develop new leadership for transformative change. It is critical that leaders and followers alike understand and master the use of purposefulness to develop new leadership, applying it in the global systems environment. This paper considers what is necessary in the development--application process of new leadership in a world fraught with little understood transformative change, an environment of increasing accelerating change, increasing uncertainty, and growing complexity.
