A cautionary tale.(Editorial)

A number of articles in this 21st volume of the journal deal with Kurdish nationalist aspirations. To broaden and deepen reflection on the subject, here are excerpts from an argument against self-determination based on ethnicity. The author is Trent University philosopher Michael Neumann, a member of a family of German Jews who suffered greatly during the Nazi era.
