OVERVIEW: United Russia wins 64.1% of vote in State Duma elections, four parties win seats
MOSCOW. Dec 3 (Interfax) - United Russia has polled 64.1% of the vote with nearly 98% of ballots counted, Central Elections Commission Chairman Vladimir Churov said.
If confirmed, the results will be a significant victory for President Vladimir Putin, and the vote of confidence in him and his course provided by them will likely boost economic stability and investor confidence.
