NEW YORK, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SAP AG announced today that, pursuant to the previously announced agreement between Business Objects S.A. ("Business Objects") and SAP AG dated as of October 7, 2007, SAP France S.A., a societe anonyme organized under the laws of the Republic of France ("SAP France") and a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAP AG, has, as of December 4, 2007, formally commenced tender offers in the United States and France to acquire for cash all outstanding ordinary shares (including shares represented by American Depositary Shares), bonds convertible or exchangeable into new or existing shares, and warrants of Business Objects.
