REDMOND, Wash., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) today announced that Internet users won't have to leave their computers to participate in the Windows(R) 95 launch event. People worldwide will be able to enjoy many of the same activities as those attending the company's product introduction event on Aug. 24, via the Microsoft(R) Windows 95 operating system home page on the Internet's World Wide Web (http://www.windows.microsoft.com). The online event will start simultaneously with the company's live celebration on Aug. 24 and will continue for three weeks.
