MADRID (via PLDT) - The Philippines and Spain signed nine bilateral agreements on economic and cultural cooperation yesterday, including an accord earmarking an initial R9.2 billion worth of investments and grants from the former colonial power in the areas of agriculture and fisheries.
The government accords were inked to foster bilateral cooperation in renewable energy, tourism, and education, culture and sports on the second day of four-day state visit of President Arroyo here.
