IT has been a year of good news and bad news in roughly equal measure for companies in North Wales, Daily Post editor Rob Irvine told an audience of 300 top business people and guests.
Good news came in the form of the first commercial flight of Airbus' A380 superjumbo - a double decker so luxurious it's fitted with bedroom suites.
Then came the bad news - no hanky panky at 40,000ft, joked Mr Irvine. "Bad news swept across the Atlantic when we found out just what subprime meant," he added on a more serious note.
