The Michigan Minority Business Development Council (MMBDC) awarded Barton Malow the 2007 Corporation of the Year in the Construction sector. The award is presented to corporations that actively include certified minority suppliers in their procurement opportunities; assist in the development of minority suppliers; promote supplier diversity and business development within their corporation, their vendors and other businesses and organizations.
Barton Malow was also named Corporation of the Year in 1994, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2005, 2006, and was a nominee in 2003 and 2004.
