THE most expensive goalkeeper in Britain found himself warming the benchat the weekend as the staggering wealth of Premier League clubs was broughtinto focus.

Sunderland's [pounds sterling]9million Scotland international Craig Gordon was named among thesubstitutes for the game against Derby, while the combined cost of Chelsea'sreplacements for the visit of West Ham reached a huge [pounds sterling]67.6m.
