Boston Market recently released statistics showing a lower fat content for its chicken than in the fried chicken served by its counterparts, Popeye's and KFC. (All chicken compared was without skin.) Boston Market failed, however, to mention the leader...the wood-fire roasted rotisserie chicken of Kenny Rogers Roasters.
Boston Market's chicken is takin' a lickin' from Roasters in the war on fat. Comparing one quarter servings of white-meat chicken with no skin, Roasters yields .60 saturated fat grams per ounce as compared with Boston Market's 1.09 ...
