Billion SA, the French supplier of plastics injection moulding equipment has launched a new machine that allows operators to overmould rubber onto a plastics substrate in a two-shot injection moulding process. Known as 2-K moulding, the abbreviation comes from the German words for plastic and rubber - Kunstoffe - Kautschuk.
The unit has been built with support from Rep International, the French supplier of injection moulding equipment and Massacrier, a French supplier of moulds.
