PRESS: Hungarian state railways MAV to narrow losses to HUF 27 bln in '07, debt still huge
BUDAPEST. DECEMBER 6. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Hungarian state railways MAV is expected to narrow its losses from HUF 83 bln last year to HUF 27 bln in 2007, although the company continues to struggle with its high debt load, the firm's Chairman Miklos Kamaras said in parliament's economic committee on Wednesday, according to press reports.
Kamaras said the state provided a capital injection of HUF 116.7 bln to MAV this year, and also provided HUF 184.1 bln in various subsidies, but the ...
