Westfield Sports Cars has joined forces with another Midland maker of niche vehicles in a deal which could pave the way to more sales and environmentally friendly kit cars, writes John Revill.
Potenza Sports Cars, the parent company of Westfield, has bought GTM Sports Cars from Coventry for an undisclosed sum.
Westfield said the deal would help its plans to develop eco-sports cars, which are lighter and so have lower CO2 emissions.
Meanwhile plans are afoot to increase production from 400 to 500 vehicles as GTM, which will keep its name, ...
