Frozen food sales increased 1.8% to $6.8 billion for the 12 weeks ending Oct. 7, 2007, while unit sales decreased 1.6% to 2.5 billion, according to Information Resources Inc. (IRI), Chicago.
IQF Poultry posted the biggest gain among categories with a 10% increase.
