CINCINNATI, Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Duramed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: DRMD) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer E. Thomas Arington said comments aired today about the company are inaccurate speculations that do not correctly reflect the company and its position.

"The company's balance sheet is steadily improving," Mr. Arington said.
