CINCINNATI, Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Duramed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: DRMD) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer E. Thomas Arington said comments aired today about the company are inaccurate speculations that do not correctly reflect the company and its position.
"The company's balance sheet is steadily improving," Mr. Arington said. "The decrease in Duramed's earnings is in keeping with the company's plan, which calls for increased expenditures associated with the intent to launch generic conjugated estrogens. Revenues for the six months ended June 30, 1995 are up 15 percent -- a record increase."
