TAIPEI, Dec 11 Asia Pulse - Taiwan should have more open policies on cross-Taiwan Strait economics because it cannot afford to lose the emerging China market in its pursuit of development, opposition Kuomintang (KMT) Legislator Lee Jih-chu said Sunday.
Lee, who is also an economist, made the remarks at a forum held by the Chunghua Institution for Economic Research (CHIER), a private think tank.
Lee was one of the KMT-led "pan-blue alliance's" representatives who attended the forum to give opinions on the China market and national energy policies for the future four to eight years. The forum was presided over by CHIER President Ko Chen-en and also ...
