NEW YORK, Dec. 11 (Yonhap) -- The New York Philharmonic formally announced on Tuesday it will perform in North Korea on Feb. 26 in an event reminiscent of the ping-pong diplomacy between the U.S. and China in the 1970s.
In a news conference, the orchestra said it will hold the concert at the East Pyongyang Grand Theater.
