Nov. 11 is set aside as Veterans Day for the nation to honor its military veterans for their commitment and sacrifices to the defense of the United States. The International Franchise Association chose to honor veterans by making it easier for them to transition from a military career to becoming franchised small-business owners. The program provides a practical way to to say "Thank You" to military veterans for their valuable contributions.
