THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- General motors will again pursue its California Value Selling Initiative during the 1996 model year, expanding the effort to include more vehicles and enhancements of the program's simplified shopping approach.

For 1996, GM is increasing the number of models included in the initiative to 89, up from 70 models last year and 46 models in the 1994 model year, according to Ann N. Pattyn, California Value Selling project manager.
