BELL, Cal. - OSP Publishing, Top Banana's parent company, is phasing out the division's offerings in licensed clocks, banks and giftware. It expects to sell out existing inventory by year end, said Mark Roginson, OSP's vice president. The company is not renewing any current licensing agreements, he added.
Its most notable clock license, Looney Tunes, lapsed and was picked up this spring by Janex Int'l, a vendor known for licensed battery-operated toothbrushes. Janex is using the Looney Tunes license for voice and action clocks.
