Many new books are out, among them "Back Through the Pack," a wonderful fantasy by Julian Pottage; "Encyclopedia of Card Play Techniques" by Guy Leve; and "Canada's Bridge Warriors," Roy Hughes's bio of Eric Murray and Sami Kehela. (Baron Barclay has everything in print. See www.baronbarclay.com.)
I continue to admire classic books that have timeless appeal. One is S.J. Simon's "Why You Lose at Bridge." Another is Mike Lawrence's "How to Read Your Opponents' Cards."
