BEIJING, Dec 14 Asia Pulse - The People's Bank of China (PBoC), the central bank, Tuesday announced a decision to buy 750 billion yuan (US$101.7 billion) of the seventh-batch of special treasury bonds (T-bonds) through quantity bidding from the Ministry of Finance (MOF).

This deal would bring the central bank's total holding of special treasury bonds to 1.35 trillion yuan, which would facilitate the central bank to draw back excessive liquidity from the market.
