SACRAMENTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1995--Amtrak California's Capitol rail passenger service has been funded by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and will continue operation between the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento.
"We are pleased funds were available in the 1995-96 state budget for operation of this important rail corridor and we are able to offer passengers uninterrupted train service," said Cindy McKim, Caltrans Deputy Director for Rail, Transit and Aeronautics.
