WEST Yorkshire hauliers have called on the Government to cut fuel duty, as organisers of a radical group plan fuel protests this weekend.
Members of the Transaction-2007 group, which organised the 2000 fuel protests, claim picket lines will be formed outside fuel refineries across the UK tomorrow.
The Road Haulage Association (RHA), the body which represents UK hauliers, has refused to back the action.
Clive Hoyland, managing director of M&B Waste Management & Transport Logistics, Mirfield, who took part in the spontaneous protests of 2000, said: "There is no doubt about it, the Government needs to do something about the price of fuel. We pay ...
