GFH to develop USD 10 bn zone on Mumbai-Pune expressway

Mumbai, Dec 14 (PTI) Islamic investment bank Gulf Finance House (GFH) today announced it will develop a USD 10 billion complex near Mumbai that will house software, energy, telecom and entertainment facilities.

The Economic Development Zone will be spread over 1,600 acre alongside the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Peter Panayiotou, chief executive officer of the Bahrain-based bank, told reporters here.

The zone will house four components - Energy City India, Software City Mumbai, Telecom City Mumbai and Entertainment City Mumbai, he said.
