Article: FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION CLEARS GPM'S PURCHASE OF STOCK OF ENRON SUBSIDIARIES

HOUSTON, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has released a proposed consent order which would permit GPM Gas Corporation to acquire the stock of two subsidiaries of Enron Corp., Enron Anadarko Gathering Company and Transwestern Anadarko Gathering Company, after such subsidiaries acquire Anadarko Basin area gathering assets now owned by Northern Natural Gas Company and Transwestern Pipeline Company.
