HOUSTON, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has released a proposed consent order which would permit GPM Gas Corporation to acquire the stock of two subsidiaries of Enron Corp., Enron Anadarko Gathering Company and Transwestern Anadarko Gathering Company, after such subsidiaries acquire Anadarko Basin area gathering assets now owned by Northern Natural Gas Company and Transwestern Pipeline Company.
To obtain FTC clearance, GPM and the Enron affiliates agreed to remove certain assets from the transaction. Those assets include certain gathering systems located in Hansford, Ochiltree and Lipscomb counties in Texas and southern Beaver County in ...
