A DEWSBURY mum saved her daughter's life when she agreed to an emergency kidney transplant.
Four-year-old Imaan Mehmood had been having kidney dialysis three times a week at St James's University Hospital, Leeds, since she was diagnosed with kidney failure at a year old.
But when complications developed last month, doctors realised that her mum, who was on the transplant list and had been for an initial appointment, was Imaan's best chance of survival.
