Samie Lim was unanimously re-elected President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry by the Board of Directors during its annual meeting and election last December 7, 2007 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
Known in the business circle as the "Father of Franchising in the Philippines," Lim is the founding president and chairman emeritus of the Philippine Franchise Association. He is also the immediate past chairman of the Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation and the vice chairman for Asia of the World Franchise Council.
