WARRENVILLE, Ill., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BP Pipelines (North America) Inc. announced today the closure of Phase Two of its open season for the proposed Viridian Pipeline project soliciting binding long-term transport agreements to ship light crude from the Chicago area to Cushing, Oklahoma, a major trading hub.

The binding open season, which commenced at 5:00 pm CT, Wednesday, October 3, 2007, ended at 5:00 pm CT, Friday, December 14, 2007. Results of the open season will be the subject of a future announcement by BP Pipelines (North America) Inc.
