Like many creative types, Holly Dunlap designs with herself in mind. After working for such notables as Vivienne Westwood and Lily Pulitzer, the Scottsdale, Ariz.-born designer decided in 2000 to launch her own footwear company, Hollywould.
Shoes were Dunlap's first love, but she had her sights set on more than a single footwear line. Her vision was to create a complete brand that would "cover my needs from A to Z." She launched ready-to-wear in 2004, and soon after, an investor came calling.
