Q) Do you have to be a U.S. citizen in order to qualify for Family Health Plus?
A) No. Immigrants, including lawfully admitted permanent residents who hold green cards, can get Family Health Plus if they meet all the requirements of the state health insurance program.
Family Health Plus is a program for adults, ages 19 to 64, who do not have health insurance, but have income or financial resources too high to qualify for Medicaid.
