FOXBORO, R.I.--Aug. 25--Jeanne Jardin isn't shy when it comes to pushing her company's product: "It's the best apple pie out there."
Judging by the success Fran's Apple Pies has found, a lot of other people agree with her.
The operation began about three years ago in the kitchen of the Mansfield home of her parent's, John Jardin, 55, and Fran Jardin, 57. They had oven capacity for 16 pies at a time.
After six months in the kitchen, the business expanded into the family's two-car garage. Oven capacity was up to 32 pies.
In June this year, Fran's Apple Pies, moved into a storefront in the Foxfield Plaza on the Foxboro-Mansfield line. Oven ...
